Rhiannonwalker.com #

So many updates to @rhiannon’s website. I’m so happy with how it’s coming out, and really want to pull some of her features into markata-go and waylonwalker.com.

Coffee at Church #

Taking some time for some Journaling this morning at the Church. I brought Ayla in as Rhiannon was unable to attend service.

Something to be proud of #

Prompt

What are you most proud of from Q3 2026? #prompt

plaindown #

Over the past few months I’ve hit a rhythm building out my own text editor that pairs up with markata. It’s been great to have something that is super customized to my workflow, to markata-go, building out features that no other editor would have. What has been more inspiring is to see Rhiannon actually start using it. Somehow I’ve landed with something that not only works for me, but works for her too. She has been writing away on her own site, and I’ve recently redone her site to really theme it into what she likes and it’s looking really good.

work #

At work, I’ve built out a custom web-based file browser backed by S3 that syncs into Postgres in a way that is more feature complete, faster, and more robust than anything we were able to use before. I’m really proud of being able to see issues that we were having around finding, previewing, getting users to upload valid input data and putting something together to meet users where they are in a way that feels like what they were using but polished to a high level and working really well.

Imagine a dragon #

Ayla just finished out “Imagine A Dragon” show and it turned out so well. All of the kids did so great! And the set looked so good.

Womp Womp #

…. Well plaindown still needs a lot of work. I just tried to upload a 34 image carousel and I was almost through describing each image painstakingly and it exited on me and lost my work
